Our range also includes a broad selection of surface stabilisation or rubber mats for your paddocks / turn-out areas. Installing our products will give you a non-slip and easy to clean surface. Within our paddock range, we have two types of flooring. Firstly, rubber matting without any additional tread layer (sand layer), and secondly, grid stabilisation systems with a tread layer. Muddy ground will be a thing of the past.

Our interlocking paving stones are ideal for open areas! They retain their non-slip properties, even when wet. Weather and frost-resistant! Installation also possible on non-concrete surfaces.
Measurements:
Subsurface:
can be laid on concrete, concrete paving or a bed of gravel / chippings (firm and level). There should be a slope of around 2-3 % and a drain.
We recommend fixings around the edges to prevent slipping.
Information on cutting can be found here.
Our interlocking paving mats are weather and frost-resistant. Their size means that they are quick to install and easy to care for. Attractive appearance with mock joints on the surface. The lobes on the sides of the mats prevent them from sliding against each other.
Tip:
The 43 mm interlocking paving mats and interlocking paving stones can be combined. Depending on the area to be covered, this means significantly less cutting and lower installation costs.

The SAGUSTU Elastic mats with connecting pins have large, square pimples on the underside and are therefore ideal for installation on gravel / chippings (firm and level). The connecting pins help to ensure that the mat joints do not separate. Open-pored surface and therefore non-slip and water- and urine-permeable.

These DK stable mats are smooth on both sides, without pimples on the underside, making them especially suited for installation on gravel / chippings (firm and level). These mats are also suitable for use on slatted floors. Open-pored surface and therefore non-slip and water- and urine-permeable

The SAGUSTU Rubber Wedge provides an unimpeded transition. The Rubber Wedge helps to avoid tripping.
Measurements:
- 0.50 m x 0.13 m x 40 mm
- 0.50 m x 0.20 m x 43 mm
Subsurface:
can be installed on concrete or concrete paving (solid surface).
Mounting:
May be glued or screwed. When using screws, washers should be used to ensure that the screws do not pull through the rubber.
Our Allround plastic paddock and riding arena tile is a proven means of stabilising the ground outdoors.
The ease of handling the individual tiles means that you can easily cover large areas in a short time.
Measurements:
- can be installed either way up -
Subsurface:
Suitable for installation on the natural ground as well as sand, gravel or directly onto mud. The surface should be levelled with a slope of around 1%.
We recommend fixings around the edges to prevent slipping.

EquiTerr professional honeycomb riding surface uses large tiles, making it uniquely quick to install. The rapid connection system significantly reduces the installation time and the associated costs. The honeycomb riding surface can also be used for ground stabilisation in paddock areas as well as directly as a riding surface. Also suitable for use on trotting tracks and gallops as well as indoor arenas (even on concrete floors). This surface requires a layer of sand as a tread layer.
Mixing of the tread layer and subsurface is now a thing of the past.
Measurements:
Subsurface:
The existing subsurface must be removed along with grass roots to create a level surface with a maximum slope of around 0.5 - 1.5 %. Next, a 10-25 cm thick (depending on the underlying soil), water-permeable gravel layer should be laid. The bedding layer of 8/11 mm broken chippings should be around 3-5 cm thick. The EquiTerr tiles can now be laid. We recommend filling them with 4/8 mm (2/8 mm) pea shingle or similar. Lastly, add the tread layer (approx. 10-12 cm, depending on usage) of water-permeable sand.
We recommend fixings around the edges to prevent slipping.
Information on cutting can be found here.
SAGUSTU perforated mats are made of flexible PVC. The main function of these mats is to provide shock absorption and secure footing for your horse. Furthermore, these perforated mats save water and drain surplus rainwater away effectively.
Measurements:
Subsurface:
We recommend planing off the topsoil and compacting the subsoil to create a slight slope of around 1.5 %. Next, a water-permeable gravel layer should be laid. Now add a levelling and drainage layer of chippings (8-16 mm diameter). This layer should be around 5 cm thick. Now you can start to lay the SAGUSTU perforated mats. We recommend filling them with filter grit (2-5 mm diameter) or similar. Lastly, add the tread layer of water-permeable sand.
We recommend fixings around the edges to prevent slipping.
Information on cutting can be found here.
SAGUSTU paddock and riding arena matting is wear-resistant, weather-proof, water-permeable and has a shock-absorbing effect. Ideal for surface stabilisation on a gravel base. The rings on the underside ensure that it conforms well to the surface beneath it. This surface requires a layer of sand as a tread layer.
