In washroom areas, rubber screed is unbeatable in terms of hygiene and comfort. The surfaces are completely sealed, creating a seamless, waterproof floor covering. The surface is finished using a spiked roller.
In the washing and grooming area, the horses' standing areas can be additionally equipped with a permanently installed anti-wear mat (30 mm thick). This robust, non-slip insert/rubber mat is perfectly compatible with the rubber floor screed.
Subsurface:
Concrete floor (no rising damp).
Recommended application rate
For washing and solar areas, we recommend an application thickness of: 20 mm = 2.25 m² per 50 kg container (without anti-wear mat)
Please note that the SAGUSTU rubber floor screed is made of natural rubber and is solvent-free. This environmentally friendly composition means that a limescale film may form under certain humidity levels or due to residual moisture in the subfloor. This can be removed with a commercially available limescale remover. Slight hoof prints on the surface result from the compression of the suspended upper latex layer and are important for the horse's stability; however, they do not damage the flooring. You will receive the installation instructions with the goods upon delivery after placing your order.
