Our SAGUSTU drainage mat ensures very rapid drainage thanks to the conical pedestals on the underside. The high pedestals provide optimal thermal insulation. The open-pored surface offers excellent grip. Ideal for horses with allergies.

Drainage function:

Urine flows through the countless small channels in the mat and is then channeled between the stilts into the drain.

Subsurface:

Installation on concrete or concrete paving stones (firm sub-base). A gradient of approximately 2-3% and drainage must be provided.

Cut:

Using a jigsaw with a wavy blade or a hand-held circular saw.

The SAGUSTU drainage mats are coated with a silicone layer during the manufacturing process. Therefore, before first use, please use water with a little dish soap or cleaning agent and scrub the mats thoroughly with a stiff brush.

Water permeability is then present from the beginning.

Please note:

To prevent the mats from slipping, we recommend creating an edge fixing using square timber or aluminum rail, unless walls or similar structures are already in place.

Rubber can expand when heated; insufficient wall clearance can lead to rippling.
