Flooring for paddocks
Our open-pore rubber mats are ideal for outdoor use and, thanks to their anti-slip surface, are particularly effective where the mats are constantly exposed to the elements. Your horses will have optimal footing even in rain and wet conditions!
They protect your horse's joints and tendons and prevent hoof wear, especially in unshod horses.
The surfaces are also frost and weather resistant and easy to keep clean.
Depending on the product, the subfloor can be a compacted gravel base or a concrete, asphalt, or composite paving slab. The subfloor must be free of holes and unevenness. These must be leveled beforehand.
Please ensure that the subsoil has an appropriate slope and drainage facilities.

To prevent the mats from slipping, we recommend securing them to the edges using squared timber or aluminum rails, if there is no wall or similar support.

SAGUSTU elastic interlocking paving stones
Product description
Our interlocking paving stones are ideal for outdoor use due to their extremely high abrasion resistance, thanks to the additional fiber content in the rubber granulate. The stones are weather- and frost-resistant.
They also offer good grip and protect the horses’ joints.
Subsurface:
Installation on concrete, concrete interlocking paving and on vibrated gravel with a possible chippings levelling layer to achieve a level surface.
Cutting:
With a jigsaw or hand-held circular saw.

The interlocking paving mats and interlocking paving stones (see above) can be combined in a 43 mm thickness. Depending on the area, this results in significantly less waste and less installation effort.

Product description
The SAGUSTU-DK drainage mat without stilts is highly slip-resistant due to its open porosity. It's ideal for installation on gravel or slatted floors.
Drainage function:
Urine or water flows through the drainage mats via countless small channels and is drained away on the underside.
Subsurface:
Non-concrete subsoil such as vibrated gravel with possibly a chippings leveling layer to achieve a level surface.
Cutting:
With a jigsaw with a serrated blade or a hand-held circular saw.

The SAGUSTU drain mats are coated with a silicone layer during the manufacturing process. Therefore, before first use, please use water with a little dishwashing liquid or detergent and scrub the mats thoroughly with a coarse brush.
The water permeability is then given from the beginning.

SAGUSTU rubber wedges ensure a barrier-free transition. They help prevent tripping hazards.
