SAGUSTU drain grate mat
Product description
The drain grate mat is a combination of the smooth SAGUSTU-DK drain mat and an 18 mm high plastic grate. The urine- and acid-resistant plastic grate replaces the stilts of a conventional drain mat and ensures the fastest possible drainage.
Drainage function:
Urine and water are drained through the mat's fine channels directly over the plastic grate. The small plastic feet ensure faster drainage.
Subsurface:
Installation on concrete or concrete paving (solid subsurface). A slope of approximately 2-3% and a drainage system are required. The grating is installed first and simply slotted together, then the mats are placed on the grating. We recommend securing the mats around the edges (e.g., with a wooden or aluminum rail) to prevent the rubber mats from slipping.

With a jigsaw with a serrated blade or a hand-held circular saw.

The SAGUSTU drain mats are coated with a silicone layer during the manufacturing process. Therefore, before first use, please use water with a little dishwashing liquid or detergent and scrub the mats thoroughly with a coarse brush.
The water permeability is then given from the beginning.
Please note:
To prevent the mats from slipping, we recommend securing them to the edges using squared timber or aluminum rails, if there is no wall or similar support.
Rubber can expand when heated, and too little distance from the wall can lead to waviness.
